The core challenge of the Changdu Rescue Battle in Jian'an Outer History lies in controlling the combat rhythm through luck values. If there is insufficient luck, beneficial statuses will disappear prematurely, while negative effects last longer, leading to a passive situation for the team. Attack boosts may only last two turns, whereas enemy debuffs like slow or burn can affect three to four turns, making both offense and defense more difficult. Many players get stuck here due to low luck values snowballing into a disadvantage.

Randomly refreshed positions on the battlefield provide temporary attribute buffs. It's recommended to keep at least 2 buff items for the final stage against the enemy commander. Healing characters should prioritize distributing healing to front-line units under focused fire, to avoid a snowball effect from broken healing chains. The central city gate is a strategic point; after capturing it, the second phase of the battle begins. It's suggested to clear out the minor enemies outside the city gate, then send Zhao Yun to seize the area in the first turn of the second phase, coordinating with Zhang Fei's skills to suppress the enemy's ranged units.

The level requires rescuing at least one civilian, which can be achieved by aiding the right-side camp, while the left side can be appropriately abandoned. The enemy commander will use "Iron Wall Formation" (team-wide damage reduction by 30%) in the 8th turn, so it's necessary to retain interrupt skills in advance. Increasing luck values sufficiently will also affect the enemy's buff effectiveness. If unable to interrupt, immediately switch the focus target to the enemy strategist, using the cooldown period of the enemy commander's skill to reduce their support power. Healing skills should be used to avoid the enemy's AOE burst periods, to prevent wasted healing.

When the remaining enemy forces are less than 40%, the enemy will activate the "Desperate Battle" mechanism (attack +25%, defense -15%). At this time, it's recommended to abandon peripheral points and contract the defense line to the NPC evacuation point, taking advantage of the narrow terrain to concentrate firepower. If the main character's HP drops below 30%, you can proactively trigger the fire event (by lighting the grass pile on the east side of the map in advance), causing regional continuous damage and providing cover for friendly troops to retreat. The duel required in the story is relatively simple; after clearing out the minor enemies, have the corresponding general go 1v1 to complete it.

This level tests the player's ability to control the pace of the battlefield, requiring the breakdown of complex objectives into phased goals to simplify. The core strategy is to prioritize clearing external threats, controlling key terrain, and actually, during the battle, adjusting tactics flexibly based on the team composition. For example, a pure physical team might focus on quick attacks and breaking defenses, while a magic-based team could utilize terrain to stack AOE damage.
