Bleach: Blade Echoes is a brand new action mobile game based on the Bleach IP, featuring many familiar characters. You can choose 3 characters to form your team. Below, we will share some strategies for team composition in Bleach: Blade Echoes and how to form an effective team as a casual player. In the game, you can have 3 characters on the field, switching between them during combat. Characters can be categorized into three main types: Assault, Tactic, and Support. Ideally, it would be reasonable to have one of each type, but there are no strict requirements.

Team Composition One: Ichigo + Rukia + Yachiru Kusajishi
Although Ichigo, the main character, is currently only an SR-grade character, his overall performance is not inferior to those SSR characters. He is a high-output Assault character with great handling. Ichigo's basic attack consists of 4 segments with high damage multipliers and can accumulate spiritual pressure. When fully charged, holding down the basic attack button triggers a wider range of attacks. His battle skill involves a spinning slash followed by a jump into the air, which can knock enemies airborne before stabbing them into the ground, then releasing all accumulated spiritual pressure for massive damage. His ultimate move is the classic Getsuga Tensho, unleashing a wave of energy that penetrates through enemies. His blocking skill, when activated at the moment of an enemy's special attack, can immobilize the enemy, allowing for a follow-up basic attack dealing significant damage and increasing the enemy's vulnerability to slashing damage.

Rukia, just like in the anime where she is a good partner of Ichigo, is also a great control, damage booster, and tactical role in the game. Her basic attack has 5 segments, with some attacks accumulating coldness value. Her battle, cover, and battlefield skills can provide a certain duration of freeze control, effectively limiting the enemy's movement, especially against bosses with frequent movements. Additionally, Rukia has two battlefield skills, one for direct damage and another for coordinated attacks. After using her battlefield skill, any character in the team attacking can increase the energy of the battlefield skill, and as long as her battlefield skill is active, all damage types from all characters in the team are increased by 15%, making her a very versatile and useful damage booster.

Yachiru Kusajishi, an excellent support character for slashing roles, does not require much time on the field. Her unique spectator mechanism allows her to boost the attack of on-field characters from the background while automatically gaining ultimate energy, enhancing the team's slashing damage. If you enjoy playing close-range slashing characters that require more operational skills, Yachiru would be a great choice for quick switch and damage boosting support, and she pairs well with Rukia.

Team Composition Two: Yoruichi + Komamura + Nemu Kurotsuchi
Yoruichi, the Instant Goddess, excels in close-range single-target output as an Assault character. Her core ability lies in dodge counterattacks, gaining substantial damage bonuses by maintaining combo counts. Not only does she have high sustained damage, but she also possesses extremely high mobility, making her a highly operable character with decent survivability.

Komamura, also a close-range Striking character, serves both assault and tactical support roles. The presence of his dog significantly reduces the enemy's resistance to striking damage, essentially making them more vulnerable. When teammates attack, Komamura can summon Divine Punishment for a coordinated attack, stacking Karma layers, and his finishing move deals massive damage based on the accumulated Karma.

Nemu Kurotsuchi, mostly known as Nemu in the original work, primarily assists Mayuri, but she also has a fighting side. In the game, she is an SR Striking character who can serve as a support for Striking roles. Her ultimate move provides a significant damage boost to the team, and she can also offer a fixed amount of attack power increase to the team by switching forms. If the team lacks damage early on, adding Nemu can provide a lot of benefits.

There are many more team composition strategies in Bleach: Blade Echoes, such as Chad + Uryu + Nemu, Kaname + Renji + Orihime, Kaname + Ikkaku + Kisuke, Kisuke + Ichigo + Uryu, Byakuya + Ichigo + Kisuke, and so on. Generally, it's best to aim for a combination of Assault, Tactic, and Support, trying to pair characters of the same type, such as Striking, Slashing, or Spiritual. Focus on building around your main damage dealer, complementing them with characters that can boost damage, increase attack power, apply vulnerability, or enhance energy acquisition. Besides the main DPS, the other two characters should ideally be "quick switch" options or those capable of performing coordinated attacks from the background.
