What are the Star Resonance Marksman playstyles? The Marksman is one of the basic professions available in the game, and it's a favorite among many players. Even as a basic profession, it can be played in different ways, and many friends are curious about what playstyles are available for the Marksman. This article focuses on two major playstyles of this profession, and interested friends can read on to learn more.

I. Falconry Style
Also known as "Falcon Bow" or "Crit Bow," this style revolves around critical hits from both the player and their falcon pet. It's an agile ranged damage dealer, capable of concentrated bursts of damage over a few seconds. Because most of the Falcon Bow's main skills have significant knockback and strong backward displacement, you may find yourself shooting further and further away, eventually out of range, requiring manual movement to get closer to the enemy. The actual mobility is relatively limited, which may also affect the damage output. For secondary attributes, the higher the crit rate, the better, and the second secondary attribute can be chosen based on personal preference.

The general resource for Marksmen is Light Energy, with a base cap of 100. When it reaches 100, releasing a special attack will enter a reinforced state called Light Energy Recast, during which some skills are enhanced. This is the Marksman's burst phase. Unpromoted and Wolf Bow styles follow this pattern, while the Falcon Bow immediately enters Recast upon full Light Energy. Special attacks are enhanced when used at full Light Energy, and then clear the Light Energy, ending the state. When not full, hitting the target recovers 2 points of Light Energy. "Storm Arrows" is the special attack, which can be charged twice, firing 5 arrows, each hit recovering 1 point of Light Energy. "Double Shot" is the modified special attack for this style, which does not recover Light Energy but can be used to fill in damage. Crits can trigger some of the Falcon Bow's talents. When Light Energy is full, it becomes "Light Intent: Quadruple Shot," mainly increasing damage, clearing Light Energy, and ending the Light Energy Recast state.

"Sharp Eye: Light Energy Great Arrow" is the ultimate skill, causing damage upon touching the target and creating a continuous area that gathers enemies. "Raging Wave Shooting" mainly releases a series of shots, allowing slow movement during the sequence. During Light Energy Recast, hitting the target can restore Light Energy, though the Falcon Bow doesn't need this move much. "Energy Shot" is a must-have skill, stepping back to charge and fire, dealing a large area of damage, with 2 charges. This style is enhanced by the Light Bombardment talent, which does not require charging during Light Energy Recast. "Light Bombardment" involves jumping back and charging, then releasing an arrow rain-like damage area. Using it during the Recast state increases damage and pauses Light Energy consumption, making it a core skill for the Falcon Bow. "Spirit Concentration" is a buff skill, greatly increasing haste and reducing the cooldown of special attacks by 50% for a duration, and is a core move for any style.

II. Beast Tamer Style
Also known as Wolf Bow, this style focuses on maximizing the coverage of Light Energy Recast through high-speed attacks. In the enhanced state, it uses talents and special attacks to rotate skill cooldowns and trigger pet damage. Most of their abilities serve the summoned wolf, hence the name Wolf Bow. Unlike other styles, the player's character mostly acts as a trigger for the pet, providing as many buffs as possible and triggering synergistic attacks with the pet, which is the source of the style's strength. The main output is high-frequency, small-scale damage, and relatively stable DOT (Damage Over Time).

For the Beast Tamer style, recommended skills to level up include "Spirit Concentration," "Arrow Rain," "Raging Wave Shooting/Light Bombardment," and "Wild Call." "Raging Wave Shooting" releases a series of shots, allowing slow movement and pausing Light Energy consumption during the state. Hitting the target pauses Light Energy consumption. "Arrow Rain" fires continuous damage to the target area, restoring Light Energy, and is a must-have for the Wolf Bow, accelerating the core rotation with several important talents enhancing its performance. "Wild Call" summons a pet to assist in combat for 20 seconds, and is a core move, with the pet being the core of this style during battle.

The two playstyles of the Star Resonance Marksman have been detailed above. There is no inherent superiority or inferiority between the two styles; each has its own advantages in combat. When choosing a playstyle, you can decide based on your preferences or combat needs to find the most suitable one.
