The Babel Hymn Bell Ringing is one of the key puzzles in the Warrior Layer of the game, crucial for players to successfully disguise themselves and advance the plot. The Warrior Clan lives on the second layer of Babel; they have strict military discipline and rely on the bell sounds to coordinate their daily routines. The bell ringer is responsible for managing daily commands but is often mocked by other soldiers due to his fondness for alcohol. Players need to observe the scene clues, deduce the correct sequence of ringing the bells, to distract the guards and complete the identity disguise.

In the game, the bell tower is located in the central area of the Warrior Layer, with four bronze bells corresponding to different commands. Symbols are engraved on the walls: the balance symbol represents assembly, the ship symbol represents dismissal, the harp symbol represents alert, and the key symbol corresponds to rest. When the mission is triggered, a drunk bell ringer lies nearby, and his notes show that today's command is to assemble for patrol at sunset. Judging from the light inside the tower, it is approaching dusk, so the combination of balance + harp bell sounds should be rung, which means the first and third bells from left to right.

When operating, simply strike these two bells once each in succession. Upon success, the soldiers will quickly gather in the center of the square, no longer paying attention to the movements around the bell tower and the armory. At this point, the player needs to seize the opportunity and immediately enter the armory to change equipment. It is important to note that a different soldier outfit must be chosen. For example, if the initial disguise was a helmet + armor, then the second time, it should be changed to a helmet + cloak or mask + armor, etc. If the same combination is worn again, the player will be recognized and expelled by the soldiers. After completing the disguise, the achievement "Blind Mismatch" can be unlocked. To achieve the additional "Mischief" achievement, simply ring any bell more than three times outside the mission, but note that this action may cause the soldiers to briefly become alert.

Some players may get stuck at the bell sound verification stage. If the soldiers do not assemble, check two points: first, whether the timing is incorrect, such as ringing the moon bell during the day; second, whether there is a misinterpretation of the symbols. For example, mistaking certain symbols for defense might lead to incorrectly choosing the alert bell. In this case, it is recommended to review the barracks murals, where after the warriors arrive at Babel by boat, the poet uses symbols to order wall construction, confirming the meaning of their action commands.

Although the Babel Hymn Bell Ringing is just one part of the main storyline, it encapsulates the core charm of the game, breaking down barriers through language and symbols. As the bell sounds, the steps of the warriors go from chaos to unison, allowing you to use this gap to complete your target missions and advance the main story.
