Horizon of Tomorrow is a strategic card game set in a post-apocalyptic zombie world, featuring many unique heroes that need to be carefully selected and developed. Some players are interested in the hero strength rankings in Horizon of Tomorrow to get a general understanding of the heroes implemented in the game, knowing which ones are powerful and worth developing. This can help avoid many unnecessary detours, so without further ado, let's dive into the main topic!

T0: Lucia
Almost a dominant presence in the current version's arena, this light-based support changed the pace of matches upon release. If players want their team's overall strength to make a qualitative leap, Lucia is an absolute must-have. She not only provides increased durability for the entire team but also offers continuous healing and additional attack opportunities through "Healing Light." Especially when paired with Phoenix, they can almost achieve full team invincibility and three rounds of invulnerability, making this combination nearly unbeatable. For PVP-focused players, at least one Lucia is essential; the difference between having her and not is not just slight—it's a matter of being completely outclassed. However, if you don't participate in arena battles, Lucia can be put on hold since her performance in PVE is rather average, lacking leading capabilities and leaning more towards functional support.

T0.5: Phoenix
The most versatile hero, even though his burst damage isn't as outrageous as it was when he first came out, he still has a significant presence in battles. Phoenix's strongest point is his ability to resurrect the entire team, coupled with a mechanism that makes him virtually unkillable as long as there are teammates around. In battle, as long as he's not fighting alone, he's almost like a perpetual motion machine. This means that regardless of the lineup, adding Phoenix instantly maximizes the team's fault tolerance. Not to mention, he also has decent offensive capabilities, although not as explosive as pure damage dealers, his ability to both tank and deal damage makes him very useful. Therefore, whether new or veteran, Phoenix is a must-have for all players; not having him will result in being dominated by other players for months. Generally, one Phoenix is enough for competitive teams, unless you're running multiple battle formations, as having more doesn't add much value.

T0.5: Asmodeus
His damage output is exceptionally high, making him a terrifying burst damage dealer as the rounds progress. Currently, his priority in using Force is the highest, and he can inherit attributes such as attack, speed, and energy from fallen teammates, turning him into a mutated boss-like existence in the later stages. Especially during the early development of new areas, Asmodeus is almost godlike, and challenging high-difficulty dungeons like the old and new Abysses is nearly impossible without him. He is also a consistent damage dealer in the Star Sea mode, and without him, you'd have to rely on outdated heroes. It's recommended that players, regardless of whether they play competitively, at least develop one Asmodeus, as he is very useful for PVE. If you have more resources, even consider getting two, as they can be used in Tower and Trial challenges. Rumor has it that he will soon enter the monthly pool, and having two would be "respecting the meta."

T1: Dee
Currently in a bit of an awkward position, before Lucia, she was a top-tier tank in the arena, serving as a core protector for many teams. However, with Lucia's arrival, her three-round invincibility mechanism highlighted Dee's weaknesses. After all, Dee's durability can't last more than two rounds, relying on the SP Coffin's monument mechanism to barely survive. Against a team with Asmodeus, she can be suppressed in the first round, unable to recover. Without a suitable monument setup, she can't even last the second round, let alone the third. In short, it's not recommended for new players to develop multiple Dees in the current version. Veterans who have already developed her don't need to redo it, keeping one for special tactics is enough. More importantly, she is rarely used in PVE, and might even slow down the pace, sometimes taking up the front-line position, making the formation difficult to manage.

Beyond these core characters, there are actually some edge heroes with decent strength in the current version. However, in terms of the overall hero strength tier list in Horizon of Tomorrow, player resources should still be prioritized for the top-tier heroes. Choosing heroes shouldn't just be based on how good their skills look, but rather on analyzing the overall environment and better alternatives. Otherwise, investing resources into a hero that declines in power within half a month would be a huge loss.
