Veronica's first passive "Rotation" has a chance to restore her sanity every time she deals damage with a one-handed sword. Her second passive "Residual Flame" allows the next "Fading Light" to be activated without consuming any sanity after using "Nether Flame."

Her "Fading Light" charges forward and then uses "Ymir" to deal 4 hits of damage along the way. Her "Nether Flame" switches her melee weapon to "Ymir" and releases a sword wave. When using "Ymir" for normal attacks, each attack will release a sword wave in the direction of the attack.
