Top Pursuit is a new MOBA battle royale game launched by NetEase. Many people find the gameplay interesting after watching the live demo, but when they try it themselves, they get quite confused, as they are not very familiar with the gameplay. Therefore, this guide will share tips on how to play Top Pursuit, starting from the basic operations and mechanisms, to help you get started quickly. If you're interested, let's take a look together!

Hero Selection and Acquisition:
Before entering the battlefield, players first need to choose their hunter. The heroes in the game are divided into types such as Warriors, Vanguards, and Supports, but the distinctions are not as absolute as in traditional MOBAs. All hunters have strong offensive and team support capabilities, even Support roles can stand their ground in combat. Thus, choosing a hero is more about personal preference in terms of operation rather than team composition needs. All hunters can be unlocked for free by completing tasks. Players can check the task overview on the left side of the main interface, gain experience to level up the hunter, and then obtain unlock tokens to unlock new characters. Before starting official matches, it's recommended that beginners enter the training ground to try out each hero and familiarize themselves with their skill mechanics. It's suggested that beginners start with Phantom, Bunny, and Foxfire, as these three characters are easy to pick up and also have impressive combat performance.

Movement:
In terms of controls, Top Pursuit uses WASD for character movement, holding Ctrl allows for stealth, reducing noise and expanding the field of view; spacebar is for jumping, and holding spacebar again while in the air enables gliding over terrain gaps. Although gliding has tactical advantages, if attacked during flight, the character will fall and be briefly stunned, and if over an abyss, they will die directly. Therefore, mastering gliding and aerial combat is a key skill in the game.

Skills and Attacks:
For attacks, the left mouse button is for basic attacks, and each hunter has unique base attack methods. For example, Joule shoots electric orbs, Foxfire spews fire at close range, and Blade switches between melee and ranged sword energy attacks. Additionally, each character is equipped with right-click skills, Q skills, Shift movement skills, and one ultimate. While Shift is a general movement skill, its effects and distances vary by character, with short cooldowns, making it perfect for quick travel or flexible escapes. When upgrading skills, players earn a skill point per level, and pressing the corresponding key allows them to learn or upgrade skills. To quickly level up a specific skill, hold Alt and press the skill key. It's worth noting that, except for the ultimate, only one of the three basic skills can be upgraded to level four, and upon reaching max level, there will be a significant enhancement in mechanism. At level seven, the character unlocks the ultimate skill, further enhancing combat power.

Combat and UI Interface:
Regarding the combat interface, above the character is the armor durability bar, and detailed armor and health values are displayed in the lower left corner. Armor does not directly provide health, but reduces damage taken proportionally when hit, with the effect varying based on armor quality. Armor can be repaired using gold at camps or by picking up repair kits dropped by enemies. Below the armor bar is the character's health. When killed, the character turns into a spirit, which can gradually revive if a teammate is nearby; if unsupported, the spirit will slowly lose health. Enemy players can step on the spirit to accelerate its decay, and once the spirit disappears, it turns into a loot box. Teammates can long-press the interaction key on the loot box to revive, while enemies can quickly plunder the resources inside.

Below the health bar, there is a blue energy bar, which is the mana. Using skills consumes mana, and stopping casting for 4 seconds allows for quick mana regeneration. This system is closer to a stamina system, requiring reasonable distribution of skill usage. To encourage combat and enhance the satisfaction of operations, players immediately regain some health and all mana, and refresh the movement skill upon defeating an enemy. When a player wipes out an entire enemy squad, all skills are fully refreshed, making highlight moments more frequent and giving individual operations a higher ceiling.

This concludes the introduction to the gameplay of Top Pursuit. This game attracts many players with its fast-paced rhythm, diverse character designs, and rich tactical strategies. It tests both individual skills and teamwork, making it a must-try for action and MOBA players alike.
