For horizontal tower defense games, most players would mention the game Plants vs. Zombies. This work is mainly cartoonish in style, and it's relatively easy to get started with the gameplay. However, the game contains a lot of strategic content. Below will be an introduction to the plant guide for Plants vs. Zombies 3. The third installment has added quite a few new plants and enemies. If players are unclear about the role of these plants, then the difficulty of passing levels will increase. Next, we will introduce the main plants in this work, so that players can understand the usage of these plants and thus increase their chances of clearing the levels.

1. Butter Shot
This plant has appeared in previous works. The health of the Butter Shot itself is 1305, with a maximum attack power of 88. The duration of the butter effect after hitting is 8 seconds. The placement of this plant requires only 1 sun. Its attack, upon hitting a zombie, can immobilize the zombie, preventing it from moving. If using Plant Food, the Butter Shot will pour butter on its line, pushing back nearby zombies and leaving a butter pit. If using a Tacos, it will gain a butter armor, and when enemies are coated with butter, other companions' attacks on them will cause additional damage.

2. Cabbage Puncher
A new plant introduced in this work. This plant has relatively low health, with full health at only 507, and an attack power of 25. However, its attack speed is very fast, capable of attacking every 0.3 seconds. It can quickly attack enemies in front and behind. Overall, it is a very powerful output character, but it requires a lot of suns to summon, needing 6 suns to summon one. Using Plant Food allows it to quickly attack enemies within a 3X3 grid centered on itself. With Tacos, it will emit short-range fireballs when punching, which can deal damage to multiple targets. After its damage becomes area-of-effect, it has an advantage against groups of enemies.

3. Bamboo Cannon
This is also a new plant introduced in this work. Players can encounter this plant early in the game. Its health is 1300. The attack power is very high, up to 538 points of damage. However, its attack speed is very slow, attacking once every 5.5 seconds. Its attack range is very wide, able to hit all enemies in a circle around it. Summoning it costs a lot of suns, requiring 7 to summon one. With Plant Food, the next shot will deal massive damage to a 3X3 area of zombies. The effect of Tacos is that the cannonball it fires will have shrapnel, damaging surrounding zombies. It is a semi-area-of-effect skill.

4. Doghouse
This is not a plant, but a building we can place. Its function is to bark at zombies when it sees them, and then all our plants' attacks on zombies will have extra damage. At the same time, it grows larger and its barking gets louder. It has a very high health, with a maximum of 3700 points. However, this building does not have any attack power. It requires 4 suns to summon. The effect of Plant Food is a roar, immobilizing all zombies on its lane. The effect of Tacos is that while barking, it will also bite zombies. Generally speaking, the effect of Tacos is less practical than Plant Food.

5. Lemon Spirit
This plant is an auxiliary type. Its health is only 350 points, and its effect is to increase the attack speed of all plants within a 3X3 area centered on itself. It requires a significant amount of suns to summon, needing 8 to do so. The effect of Plant Food is to provide a super attack speed boost to plants within an 8-grid radius for a short period. The effect of Tacos is that when zombies attack other accelerated plants, there is a certain probability they will be stunned.

The above is an introduction to the plant guide for Plants vs. Zombies 3. The 5 plants introduced above are currently more representative. Among them, 4 are new plants that first appeared in this work. Players need to figure out their specific abilities to understand how to use them properly.
