The Frost Marauder of the Wild Origin can be considered a very powerful boss in the current version. It belongs to an ice-attribute dungeon BOSS, with its high damage and complex attack mechanisms posing a significant challenge to players' operations and strategies. Today, to help newcomers quickly defeat this boss, I'm bringing you a quick guide. Actually, there are quite a few techniques involved in fighting it; mastering these techniques will help everyone handle the challenge more smoothly.

Before the challenge, make sure to carry ample supplies: 9-12 bottles of Restorative Elixir, Sweet Vegetable Juice that increases HP limit, and Exile Jam. For weapons, prioritize fire-attribute ones to counter ice, such as Burning Arrows or a hunting straight sword enchanted with fire, which can boost damage output by an additional 30%. It's recommended to bring the Lightning Guardian for Maca, although it cannot take hits, it can assist in dealing damage.

The BOSS's moves mainly consist of melee rushes and area-of-effect ice damage. Melee Pounce requires dodging with a side roll, pay attention to the movement of its front claws to predict the direction. Jump Slam is indicated by a clear red circle, so you need to quickly get out of range; taking this skill head-on could result in being instantly killed if at half health. Spider Claw Combo, the final segment includes a dash, it's advised to keep a distance of more than three body lengths to avoid being hit by the combo. Ice Missiles fly slowly, allowing flexible positioning to dodge them, but once marked, immediately use Anti-Freeze Potion to reduce the slowing effect. Ground Spikes have high concealment, move immediately when blue light appears under your feet, especially when at low health.

At the start, summon Maca to draw aggro, then switch to a bow for ranged attacks, prioritizing weak points outside the BOSS's shield. When the BOSS raises its shield to enter a defensive state, frontal attacks become ineffective, requiring you to flank or attack from the sides. After its jump slam, there's a brief stun period, during which switching to a melee weapon and releasing a fire-attribute skill (such as Blazing Slash) can effectively burst. We must control stamina, keeping at least 30% after dodging skills. Don't hesitate to use healing potions when below half health to avoid being one-shot by subsequent combos. If marked by Ice Missiles, prioritize clearing the ground spike area while staying mobile to avoid being hit by multiple skills.

The core strategy revolves around fire-attribute countering + positioning prediction, requiring a certain level of operational skill. Maintain a medium distance, using the BOSS's post-jump stun period for burst damage, while also paying attention to the shield's orientation and the pre-cast actions of skills. With adequate preparation and familiarity with the skill patterns, through repeated attempts and tactical adjustments, everyone can achieve a stable clear.
