In Wild Origin, players need to learn how to survive in the wilderness, and the biggest threat is undoubtedly the mechanical bosses. Here, we share the Wild Origin compendium, discussing the mechanical BOSSes that are currently implemented in the game. From the previous official promotional PV, it's known that there are five "overlord" level mechanical bosses, namely Haruman, Paramora, Sokte, Baster, and Ramason. Among them, Haruman appears in the early game cutscenes and is the first large boss that players will challenge.

Haruman:

It is the first split entity created by NVA, mainly responsible for modifying the terrain of the plains. A single stomp can form a lake. It is revered as the "Creator God Haruman" by the Dariman people. Its prototype is from the primate order, designed based on the "orangutan," but with a larger size, reinforced fists, and added flame devices, making it capable of easily clearing obstacles.

The skill "Flame Fist Jump Attack" uses armored arms to repeatedly hammer the ground, causing a wide range of fire damage, capable of hitting three times consecutively. The skill "Flame Burst Rain" involves swinging the arm upward, generating multiple parabolic missiles that fall from the sky and explode upon landing, with area indicators on the ground, making it relatively easy to dodge.

Paramora:

Designed by NVA to patrol the plains, its main duty is to guard the Eye of Modila. Even when heavily damaged, it continues to fulfill its duty, repelling anyone who tries to ascend to the Eye of Modila. Its prototype is a peacock, with beautiful feathers, and it has strong flying capabilities in the game.

Paramora has two overlord skills: one is "Alloy Wing Slash," using exceptionally hard iron wings to deliver two slashes followed by a downward strike. The other skill is "Spatial Electric Field," which, after accumulating enough electricity, releases a large area of electric damage all at once.

Sokte:

A scorpion-shaped mechanical BOSS, it can quickly approach enemies, using its large pincers to slash left and right, and then delivering a heavy hit with its tail. When shaking its claws for a wide-range heavy hit, it also releases flames to burn enemies. If the target is too far away, Sokte will directly jump and deliver a heavy hit. The fire element explosive bullets are single-target attacks with knockback effects. This boss, besides elemental attribute weaknesses, has no obvious vulnerabilities; it is fast, deals high damage, and has multiple attack methods. Bringing an electric pet, using electric skills or electric arrows, and trying to stay behind it while maintaining distance, not too far but not too close to avoid being hit by the tail, provides room for maneuver even when aggro is on the player.

Baster:

There is currently no specific combat demonstration for this boss. From the promotional images, it looks a bit like a wolf and a bit like a saber-toothed tiger, with fiery fangs and a magma-covered skeletal surface. If nothing else, this boss likely has very high mobility, and its attack methods can be speculated: claw swipes, jumping and diving attacks, possibly grabbing and biting, or quick-turn tail attacks.

Ramason:

A mantis-shaped mechanical creature, with a biological mantis design, dragon-like dive attacks, and a sonic boom. From the promotional video, Ramason appears to be the largest in size. Its two front claws are like sharp steel blades, making a metallic sound when they smash into the ground. As expected, this boss is quite challenging, especially due to its large size, which makes movement difficult, and some wide-range attacks are hard to avoid. Using a shield to block its attacks might be a common strategy.

The above are introductions to several overlord-level mechanical bosses in the Wild Origin compendium. In addition to the ones mentioned, there are also some bosses revealed in the second beta test, such as dragons, rhinoceros beetles, and dung beetles. The rhinoceros beetle seems to have electric attributes, while the dung beetle pushes a large round iron ball. In the trailer, it is shown as a flying boss, with the player sitting on the head of the dung beetle, and the dung beetle carrying its "dung ball" in flight, giving it a unique flavor. These are all large bosses, and there are others like the Wind Fungus Walker, Ice Hoof Beast, Electromagnetic Chirper, and some humanoid bosses, which players can also challenge in the game.
