Faruzan is a brand new five-star Electro polearm character set to debut in version 6.0, with an expected release date around September 10, 2025, which aligns well with Genshin Impact's biweekly update schedule. He has already made his appearance in the 6.0 test server and will occupy the top spot in the first half of the banner. Compared to characters with less exposure in the past, Faruzan has garnered significant attention from players due to his unique mechanics and high burst potential.

Faruzan's normal attack can chain up to 5 hits, his charged attack involves throwing his spear forward, consuming stamina and dealing damage along its path, and his plunging attack deals AoE Electro damage upon landing. The overall combo rhythm is relatively fast, with smooth animations, making him suitable for a main DPS role.

His elemental skill allows Faruzan to enter the "Flame Manifestation" state, where his normal and charged attacks are converted into Electro-infused strikes, unaffected by other elemental attachments, and he gains resistance to interruption, though he cannot perform plunging attacks. In this state, his skill changes to a special form called "Spear Array," which summons a spear formation to deal AoE Electro damage in front of him and replaces his ultimate with a time-limited enhanced version called "Thunder Symphony" for the next 6 seconds.

Faruzan's regular elemental burst, "Night Visitor," unleashes the power within the lamp, dealing initial Electro damage to enemies, followed by three delayed instances of more Electro damage, all classified as Moonlight Electro reaction damage. If in the "Moonlit · Full Moon" state, it triggers two additional instances of Moonlight Electro damage. If the burst is cast within 6 seconds after using the Northern Spear Array, it uses a lower energy cost "Thunder Symphony," dealing only one instance of Moonlight Electro damage, with an extra hit if in the Full Moon state.

Faruzan has four inherent passives: Winter Symphony, increasing Moonlight Electro damage by 20% in the Full Moon state; Flame Whisper, converting attack power into Elemental Mastery; Moon Sign Gift: converting teammates' Electro reactions into Moonlight Electro, with each 100 points of attack boosting the base damage of Moonlight Electro by 0.7%, up to 14%, and when Faruzan is in the team, the team's Moon Sign level increases by 1; Secret Light Tracking: displaying specialty items of the Nodakal region on the mini-map and being able to "understand the whispers of the wild hunt."

That concludes the introduction regarding when Faruzan will be released and how he performs. He is expected to be available in version 6.0, around September. Faruzan pairs well with characters capable of generating Thundercloud and managing Moon Signs, such as the new character Inev from version 5.8, to maximize Moonlight Electro reaction output. A team composition featuring Faruzan and Inev as standard reaction main DPS, with support roles like Orlon and Xingqiu, is recommended based on actual testing to enhance overall efficiency.
