The new gameplay of "逆水寒手游砺剑山河" (River and Saber: Sharpening the Sword) is set to launch on August 1st. This gameplay includes multi-group battles, territorial conquests, and more, blending fierce combat with strategic offense. It promises a refreshing large-scale battle experience for players who love combat. The following will explain in detail how to play, guiding everyone to understand in advance, so as to quickly get started when it launches.

In "Sharpening the Sword", there will be two major camps fighting across 12 large maps, including Bianjing and Citong Port, competing for each other's territories. This mode will take place on independent frontline maps, not interfering with other players. Each map represents a territory, where the structure "Huabiao" will appear. At the end of the match, the territory will belong to the club that finally occupies the "Huabiao", earning corresponding occupation points.

For "Sharpening the Sword", every 10 clubs form a group. If there are more than 10, they will be divided into Group One, Group Two, and so on. After every two rounds of mixed battles, clubs will be ranked based on their occupation points. Before the battle, management can appoint 3 commanders to lead the team in combat. When the commander enters the map, other members can click to follow and join together.

To summarize, each club will be divided into 3 teams participating in the territorial disputes. Each territory can support up to 4 teams entering simultaneously. At the end, the territory belongs to the club that occupies the "Huabiao", and each club can conquer a maximum of 2 territories.

To make the battles even more intense, the 12 large maps will be divided into 3 high-scoring "fortresses" and 9 low-scoring "outposts". Fortresses need to be registered for before the battle starts, with each club allowed to register for 2, and cannot participate in unregistered ones. Outposts do not require registration and can be chosen freely at any time. High-value fortresses have a unique banner mechanism; initially, there will be 1 banner, which serves as a respawn point. In the latter part of the battle, the banner can be attacked and destroyed, eliminating the club directly.

This concludes the introduction to the gameplay of "逆水寒手游砺剑山河" (River and Saber: Sharpening the Sword), which replaces the original Dragon-Tiger Showdown. This new gameplay fully utilizes the concept of "territory". In addition to multi-group battles, the choice of strategy will also be key to the final victory or defeat. Proper use of the mechanisms can help turn the tide of battle and achieve a comeback from defeat.
