In the realm of side-scrolling tower defense games, Plants vs. Zombies has always enjoyed immense popularity. Although this game doesn't excel in visual presentation, its gameplay is incredibly fun. Recently, news about a new installment of the game has surfaced. Below, we will introduce the new plants in Plants vs. Zombies 3. In this game, players need to understand two pieces of information from the start: the first is the specific abilities of each type of zombie; the second is the data and abilities of the plants they possess. Next, we will provide detailed information on the new plants currently available in the game.

1. Kiwi
Firstly, in the recent fourth beta test of the game, there have been changes to the data regarding sunlight, which players should be aware of. This plant itself requires 75 points of sunlight to summon, with a planting cooldown of 7 seconds. Its attack power is 60 points, with an attack range of one row and a damage area of one cell. Its main feature is that it can summon a golden cudgel to inflict continuous damage on zombies. This plant can only be obtained through card draws, and overall, its cost-effectiveness is decent, with fairly good attributes. If players have ample resources, they can further cultivate and evolve it, after which its attributes and abilities will change and improve.

2. Magma Kiwi
This plant is the evolved form of the aforementioned Kiwi. Players can evolve it once they obtain the recipe. This plant requires a higher amount of sunlight, needing 200 points to summon. Compared to the Kiwi, its attack power has decreased significantly, standing at just 40. However, it no longer attacks individual targets but can instead damage multiple zombies. Its attack speed is also relatively fast. The Magma Kiwi's ability is to use a golden cudgel to inflict significant damage on zombies in front of it, accompanied by a flame effect. From current combat experience, this Kiwi's abilities are quite strong. However, each summon consumes a lot of resources.

3. Mistletoe Pitcher
This plant also appeared in the recent fourth beta test. It can currently only be obtained through card draws. It requires 125 points of sunlight to plant, with a planting cooldown of 8 seconds. Overall, the cooldown time isn't very short. Its attack speed is not too slow, and its attack power is 100 points, which isn't low for a shooter. Its attack range is the same as most other plants, covering one row, and the damage area is one cell. This plant's ability is to trigger a rolling large fruit with a certain probability when attacking. The Mistletoe Pitcher can be evolved under certain conditions, becoming stronger after evolution.

4. Mistle Fire Fairy
This is the evolved form of the Mistletoe Pitcher. After evolving, the amount of sunlight required doubles, needing 250 points to summon, which is a significant consumption. Its attack power increases from 100 to 215, making it much stronger. The attack range remains one row but extends somewhat, and the damage area expands from one cell to multiple cells. Its ability is to throw large fireballs at zombies, inflicting massive damage and causing ongoing damage. Overall, although its cost has increased, its abilities have also improved significantly, making it a valuable addition that reduces the difficulty for players.

5. Shamrock
This plant is also a new addition. Players can obtain it after passing through the campsite. Based on the current data, this plant is more of a support type. Each planting consumes 75 points of sunlight. Its support range covers the entire field, and it cannot attack. Once planted, it can activate its ability, blowing away all balloon zombies and fog. If planted alongside other plants, it can evolve into a wind-based plant.

The above are introductions to the new plants in Plants vs. Zombies 3. In this test, the game primarily introduced these five new plants, each with unique abilities. Players need to understand their capabilities clearly to know how to use them effectively.
