Who are the new characters in "Beneath the Eccentrics"? During the initial testing phase of the game, there were about a dozen characters available. Up to now, more and more characters have been implemented. Given that many player friends did not participate in the testing, they are not very clear about which new characters are currently in the game. 1. Ling Jiu
This character's personality is one of forbearance. In his early years, he wandered between Quanxing and the theater troupe, and by chance, he met the great snake Liu Zhi, mastering a set of evil skills. His normal attack, "Curved Body Fan," uses fan dancing to attack forward, with up to 4 consecutive hits. His throw technique, "Fan Retreat," grabs the target, using the folding fan to confuse the opponent's vision and taking the opportunity to attack from behind. The common skill "Jade Ring Hook / Pearl Bag Search," when short-pressed, triggers "Jade Ring Hook," throwing the fan in hand, pulling the opponent closer and following up with a fan dance combo. This skill has a relatively short cooldown;
When long-pressed, it requires consuming a certain amount of health to trigger "Pearl Bag Search," throwing the fan further. If the spinning fan hits the opponent, it can pull them closer for a combo and summon the snake spirit to bite, dealing higher damage than the short press, though the cooldown is longer. When health is below 20%, using this skill does not consume health, and if it hits an airborne opponent, it can force them into a standing position.
The second common skill "Fish Dragon Dance / Black Scales Swim," when short-pressed, releases "Fish Dragon Dance," charging towards the enemy unit and withdrawing after a fan swipe. When long-pressed, it becomes "Black Scales Swim," also requiring health consumption, allowing a charge over a greater distance. If it hits, it summons the snake spirit after a spinning fan strike, dealing higher damage than the short press. This skill is a risky move, capable of suppressing enemies in a match, similar to the first long-pressed skill in terms of health consumption. Ultimate skill "Blood Feast / Sinful Dragon Scale Shedding," when long-pressed and Qi is fully charged, triggers "Blood Feast," sacrificing health to feed the snake spirit in exchange for Qi;
When minimum health is above 20% and long-pressed, this skill accumulates Qi without consuming health. When Qi is full, a short press triggers "Sinful Dragon Scale Shedding," throwing the fan at the opponent. On hit, it summons the true form of the snake spirit to bite the opponent, causing severe damage. This ultimate skill has slightly lower damage compared to other characters but can restore a certain amount of health. After using this move, Qi can be quickly refilled, requiring a wait before it can be used again. This eccentric possesses good rush and control abilities, able to flexibly switch skill forms, maximizing strengths and minimizing weaknesses, keeping the battle situation under control.
2. Zhang Chulan "Golden Light Curse"
Previously, everyone was familiar with the version of Zhang Chulan from the Palace of Red Mansion. Recently, a Golden Light Curse version of this eccentric character has been released. Looking at the normal attacks, the first segment is a forward punch, 2A is a kick, the third segment is two consecutive punches, and the fourth segment is a flying kick that launches the enemy. Finishing the third segment without the fourth causes taunting. The throw technique "Golden Light Leap" can be triggered by a normal attack when the enemy is defending. Skill 1 "Roaring Golden Arc," after use, delivers a short forward punch. Each hit does not trigger subsequent moves, but hitting the opponent allows for three golden light punches, launching the enemy with a heavy hit. It's a quite simple and brutal skill, highly compatible with normal attacks, making it easy to follow up and cancel the backswing actively.
After releasing Skill 2, a quick flying kick is delivered, followed by an additional golden light upper kick if it hits, causing the enemy to float. After using Skills 1 and 2, normal attacks can be linked, forming a perfect combination. Ultimate skill "Overlord's Salute," after use, delivers a forward punch, followed by a roll. The range of the ultimate is relatively short, usually needing to be integrated into combos, linking with each segment of normal attacks. Skill 1 cannot link with the final segment but can be freely connected otherwise. This version of Zhang Chulan can be paired with several external bodies, but it also needs to be considered based on the other two characters in the lineup. A versatile combination is "Qi Blade Zero Point Zero One" + "Li Word Earth Escape Kirin" + "Eight Gates Instant Transport." This form of Zhang Chulan is more suitable for close combat.
