The Kui Niu, as a powerful boss in the Zhuxian 2 mobile game, leaves many players wondering how to defeat it. Due to the boss's complex mechanisms, along with its significant health and defense, many players find it challenging and often suffer losses. It is recommended that players thoroughly understand the specific tactics for this BOSS before engaging, allowing them to exploit its weaknesses and mechanisms effectively. This way, future encounters will be less strenuous.

1. Basic Information about the Kui Niu Instance
It is suggested that players reach the required level for the instance (usually mid-level, such as level 40+), so the battle won't be too difficult. For the team composition, one tank (Gui Wang) can be included: responsible for attracting the BOSS's aggro and taking the main damage. Then, prepare 2-3 DPS roles (Qing Yun, He Huan, etc.): to quickly reduce the BOSS's health, and finally, have 1 healer (Tian Yin): to ensure the team's survival and provide crucial crowd control removals.

2. Specific Tactics
When the Kui Niu is at the first phase (100%-80% HP), it can release a laser red circle: a laser and dense red circles appear under the BOSS, requiring players to scatter and dodge. Additionally, a black hole stance will form: rocks teleport near random players, creating a black hole, from which they need to escape by breaking free. At 80% HP, the meteor mechanism triggers, randomly targeting two players who must gather in front of the Kui Niu's head to let the meteors fall together. The healer (Shen Zhu) then uses a special skill 4 to push the meteors towards the BOSS, putting it into a weakened state.

In the second phase (80%-20% HP), tentacle attacks are generated: long-range area damage, which needs to be dodged promptly. There will also be falling meteors, which Gui Wang can block with a force field and Qing Yun can stop with a time-stop skill. At 50% and 30% HP, the platform jumping mechanism is triggered, showing AOE red circles, where Gui Wang needs to use a special skill 4 to jump onto the platforms to avoid damage.

Below 20% HP, the third phase is triggered. At 30% HP, there is a lightning ball mechanism: the lightning balls cannot be touched, or they will explode. At 20% HP, a full-screen instant kill skill is released, and all members must quickly pull the mysterious mechanism, activating it to put the BOSS into a weakened state. Note that the mechanism should only be activated after the BOSS releases its skill, otherwise, it will not work.

3. Precautions
During the meteor mechanism, both meteors must hit the BOSS simultaneously; otherwise, it will not enter the weakened state. For the platform jumping mechanism at 50% and 30% HP, Gui Wang's teammates need to react quickly, or the team may be wiped out by AOE. In the full-screen instant kill phase, players should pre-assign one player to monitor the mechanism to avoid panic. Try to reduce the BOSS's HP as much as possible in the first and second phases to buy more time for the third phase.

4. Hidden Quest
In the hidden quest at level 40, when fighting the Kui Niu for the second time, reducing its HP to around 71,000 (initially around 72,000-76,000) within 50 rounds can effectively trigger and complete the hidden quest to capture the Kui Niu. If the damage is insufficient, the Kui Niu will flee, and the quest will fail. The reward is a decorative Kui Niu (no combat use).
To successfully defeat the Kui Niu, players need to learn how to fight it in the Zhuxian 2 mobile game. By mastering the mechanics and dividing tasks reasonably, they can pass smoothly. By learning the above tactics, players can effectively exploit the Kui Niu's weaknesses and defeat it. To obtain the Kui Niu pet, complete the hidden quest.
