The Thistle is a rather tough boss. Although its damage and defense capabilities are average, it is surrounded by several Spanish ships, making it impossible for players to attack from a distance with cannon fire. At least half of the surrounding ships need to be eliminated before a direct assault can begin.

Luckily, during the fight, many other ships will also attack the Thistle, providing an opportunity for players to deal damage. However, it's important to maintain a safe distance, as entering the enemy's firing range will cause all their firepower to turn towards the player, making failure very likely.

Therefore, it's necessary to lure the enemies from a medium distance on the coast, using long-range cannons to attack one of the ships.
