In the world of Double Helix, a companion system has also been added. The companions in the game are not what we think of as pets; they are a completely new feature. The companions in Double Helix are actually AI teammates. That's right, if we don't want to tackle dungeons or explore maps alone in the game, we can completely summon AI teammates to join us in our adventures.

When summoning AI teammates, we need to know that they can only be used when passing levels solo or during exploration. During world exploration or when one person is taking on a quest, 2 cooperative companions can be summoned. If two people are taking on a quest, each player can only summon 1 cooperative companion. If three or more people are taking on a quest, no cooperative companions can be summoned. Everyone needs to understand these summoning rules.

After understanding the rules for summoning cooperative companions, I will now explain how to summon them. After logging into the game, players cannot summon without setting up first. Therefore, before summoning a cooperative companion, you must first set it up. On the upper right corner of the main interface, there is an icon that looks like a little person's head, which is the preparation interface.

Once in the preparation interface, find the tactical backpack option, which is marked by a circle with a star inside. Click on the tactical backpack, and you will see a character imprint option at the lower left of the screen. We just need to equip the weapons and gear for the character we want to summon in the character imprint. When equipping weapons and gear, note that each character needs to be equipped with one ranged weapon and one melee weapon, and don't forget the magic wedge for the weapons. Then, drag the character onto the side dial.

After completing the setup, we can simply close the preparation interface. When we go on an adventure or into battle, we can directly press the T key to summon the cooperative companion.
