In the game world of Goddess of Victory: New Hope, the existence of Heretics is something many players are unaware of, because Heretics are a different class of characters. These Heretics are not only obtainable characters but also opponents that players will face in game challenges. In this edition of "Who Are the Heretics in Goddess of Victory: New Hope," you can see the few Heretics currently in the game. The number is quite small, and the conditions to become a Heretic are rather stringent.
Firstly, from the perspective of body structure, a Heretic's body must be a super-evolved version born from the deep integration of Nikke and Leech technology. This integration is not a simple patchwork but a high degree of compatibility and sublimation of two powerful forces across multiple dimensions such as genes and energy, endowing Heretics with extraordinary physiological traits and potential. Such integration may make their bodies capable of carrying more energy, having a more resilient physical structure, and a more acute sensory system.

Secondly, names hold special significance for Heretics. After thorough research, it was discovered that the English names of the four Heretics precisely correspond to unique ideologies. Divine Punishment corresponds to modernism, Fire Dragon is linked to nihilism, Scorpion represents individualism, and Jellyfish corresponds to liberalism. Another notable feature of Heretics is their ability to transform into gigantic forms. Once they enter this state, they transform into massive beings tens of meters tall.

This transformation is not just a simple enlargement in size but comes with a comprehensive enhancement in strength, defense, and skill effects. For example, it was initially thought that Divine Punishment simply piloted a mech for combat, but in this side-story event, players were surprised to find that when Divine Punishment's mental state becomes unstable, she triggers a giant transformation, summoning the mech again. At this point, her combat power and intimidation reach an entirely new level.
Among the current Heretics, there are two that are highly recommended for players to obtain. The first is Divine Punishment, who can be obtained through gacha. As a burst-type main character, her performance in battle is impressive. When paired with Rita, they can form a powerful damage-dealing chain. Rita can provide strong support in terms of assistance and control, while Divine Punisher, when her normal attacks hit 200 times, gains critical damage and attack power. This skill mechanism encourages players to actively use normal attacks during battles, triggering powerful buffs by continuously accumulating hits.

Moreover, Divine Punishment has a passive skill that adds extra damage to her normal attacks, further enhancing her already formidable offensive capabilities. After using her combo skill, she enters a powerful annihilation mode for 15 seconds, during which her ammunition becomes infinite. In this mode, she can shoot at enemies without restraint. The other recommended character is Fire Dragon.
When charging her attacks, her penetration ability is enhanced, and this effect lasts for one shot. Additionally, she has fire-based attacks, dealing 10% extra damage to enemies equipped with wind pressure codes. In battle, each of her charged attacks can deal damage equivalent to 112.64% of her attack power to enemies within range. Her ultimate move also deals 10% extra damage to enemies with wind pressure codes and inflicts a burn status, causing continuous damage equivalent to 158.59% of her attack power for 13.19 seconds. Many teams lack such an output capability.

Currently, there are four Heretics in the game. After knowing who the Heretics are in Goddess of Victory: New Hope, you can try to obtain them in the game later on. However, the acquisition mechanism for Heretics is more challenging compared to obtaining regular characters.
