Sun Kailang is a character that players can use directly after entering the game, but many players set him aside after drawing more cards later on. In fact, Sun Kailang is not as unusable as some might think. Today, I will talk about how to pair up the lineup for Sun Kailang in the "Song of the Hawk" in Three Kingdoms Fantasy Land 2. There are no useless generals in the game; only poorly matched lineups. If properly paired, Sun Kailang can be a very useful character.

Sun Kailang is an underestimated card by many players. His general skill can directly dispel any beneficial effects on the target, which is very effective in many battles. His basic attack deals damage to the enemy's front-row targets and grants him damage reduction, with each stack providing 10% damage reduction, up to a maximum of 5 stacks. His ultimate skill performs three attacks on any target, then dispels one beneficial effect from that target, and heals 20% of his own max health. His fate bond is limited to the Legacy of Sun Wu, but it only requires two or three characters from this bond to activate its effect.

When pairing the lineup, I recommend combining Sun Kailang with Gan Ning, Cao Cao, and Cai Wenji. This group of four forms a very good team, and the other two slots can be filled based on the situation. Gan Ning is easily obtainable for every player, and Cao Cao can be obtained directly. Cai Wenji is also relatively easy to cultivate. With Sun Kailang, this lineup can be effortlessly developed by casual players. Gan Ning has decent horizontal row damage, while Cao Cao excels in single-target damage, making the overall output quite strong. This combination is suitable for most casual players during the early stages of the game.

If you manage to draw Sun Shangxiang or Sun Quan early on, you can reserve the other two spots for them, along with Sun Kailang, to activate the three-person fate bond. Adding Gan Ning will also activate the bonus for the four-person Wu Kingdom faction, achieving a fairly perfect setup. With Sun Shangxiang, the team's overall damage output becomes even stronger.

I believe everyone now understands how to pair up Sun Kailang's lineup in the "Song of the Hawk" in Three Kingdoms Fantasy Land 2. It's important to change the mindset that low-tier cards are useless, as seen in other games. By understanding the skills and characteristics of various generals, you'll have more options when pairing your lineup.
