When everyone is adventuring in this wilderness world, combat is absolutely essential. After all, only by defeating the bosses in each area can the story progress, and ultimately, the truth of the world be revealed. Many newcomers may not yet be clear about the combat mode of the Wild Origin. So, below is an explanation of the detailed combat mechanics and tips, to help beginners quickly get started and win in adventure battles.

I. Weapons
Combat requires picking up a weapon. Currently, the game's weapons are divided into one-handed and two-handed types. One-handed weapons include spears, hunting straight swords, and hunter staves, which are characterized by relatively high attack frequencies and can be used with shields that have blocking effects. The second type, two-handed weapons, includes greatswords, hammers, and bows. Greatswords and hammers have slower attack speeds but higher damage and resilience reduction compared to one-handed weapons. Bows are the only ranged weapons and can be used with arrows of different attributes. Overall, two-handed weapons are characterized by high damage but slow attack speed, and cannot be used with shields;
Both types of weapons can perform charged attacks. The charged attack of the greatsword has super armor, making it difficult to interrupt, and can only be interrupted during the intervals between each charged strike. Pressing the roll key while charging will turn into a shoulder charge attack. The charged attacks of other weapons are easily interrupted, so be cautious when using charged attacks. Finally, except for the longbow, all weapons can be equipped with combat skills. Combat skills bring different attribute damages and can be flexibly equipped based on enemy attributes.

II. Combat Tips
The stamina consumption of rolling dodges is greater than sprinting, so try not to dodge frequently. Sprinting can also avoid most attacks. If you find yourself unable to defeat your opponent in battle, you can retreat to disengage from combat, recover, and then continue fighting. However, note that disengaging from minor enemies does not restore health, but disengaging from boss fights will allow them to recover, so maintain a distance when fighting bosses;
Additionally, during nighttime combat, you will suffer from a cold debuff, reducing your attack power and increasing stamina consumption. You can use the portable crafting function to make a torch to dispel the cold. While holding the torch, you can switch to a one-handed weapon to continue fighting. New players should avoid fighting at night and instead build a bed and campfire on the spot to rest.

III. Elements
Different Macas have different elements, with a total of five: electric, rock, wind, ice, and fire. They have a system of mutual克制关系如下图所示,玩家在战斗时充分利用好元素克制的机制,比如讨伐风属性玛卡时,使用冰属性的战技火箭矢,这样攻击时不仅会有额外伤害加成,敌人还会有负面状态的累积,等积攒满后就会使得其进入到异常状态中,让讨伐更加容易。
看来翻译过程中出现了一点小问题,我将重新翻译未完成的部分:
Different Macas have different elements, with a total of five: electric, rock, wind, ice, and fire. They have a system of mutual countermeasures, as shown in the figure below. Players should fully utilize the elemental countermeasures in combat. For example, when fighting a wind-attribute Maka, use ice-attribute rocket arrows. This will not only provide additional damage but also accumulate negative status effects on the enemy. Once these negative statuses are fully accumulated, the enemy will enter an abnormal state, making the fight easier.

IV. High-Difficulty Boss Strategies
Starting from the boss Wind Fungus Walker, the difficulty significantly increases. The Wind Fungus Walker is very agile, making it difficult to find opportunities for melee attacks. Therefore, melee combat is not recommended. Using a bow and arrow with ice arrows that counter its wind attribute is the best choice. Additionally, besides being agile, the boss’s skills such as dashing and creating tornadoes are also very troublesome. When you see the boss preparing to dash, remember to roll to dodge.
The Blazing Chain Tail Scorpion is another high-difficulty boss. The challenge lies in its ability to cover the ground with flames, causing continuous damage to anyone walking on it. It is difficult to find a safe place to stand, and the boss's most damaging skill is its large tail, which can sweep and stab. If hit, it can easily result in a one-hit kill. However, its speed is not very fast, so as long as you dodge the tail and watch out for the flames on the ground, it is quite manageable. It is recommended to use electric-attribute combat skills, and the Maka should have good durability to attract the boss's attention. Finally, bring food that increases your health cap, such as grilled fish, to better secure victory.

The above is an introduction to the combat mode of Wild Origin. After learning the basic combat mechanics and techniques, beginners can choose the right equipment and Macas to easily defeat powerful enemies. Finally, I hope every player can survive successfully in this wilderness.
