Storm Hound is a relatively difficult fire-type BOSS in the world of Rock Kingdom, located at the Magic Source of Crescent Lake. To help new players quickly defeat this boss, here's an introduction to the skill pairing for Storm Hound in Rock Kingdom. This BOSS has two phases: In the first phase, it will spew fire and charge, and in the second phase, you must use water or ground-type spirits to fight, otherwise, you won't be able to damage it.

First, we teleport to the Crescent Lake shore anchor point: From the main city, teleport to the Crescent Lake shore, proceed west along the lakeshore, cross the broken stone bridge, and reach the entrance to the Magic Source. Then start tracking. You can use flying spirits for quick map traversal. Once we see the boss, after activating the Star Magic, the grass will change color, and the boss will actively attack, initiating the boss battle. At the start of the battle, Storm Hound releases three skills: Fireball Charge: Transforms into a fireball and charges straight ahead; move your character quickly to the left or right to dodge. Flame Field Generation: Creates a flaming area on the ground; keep your character moving continuously to avoid staying in one place. Skyward Fire Pillars: Multiple fire pillars appear at random positions; stay away from the fire pillar range and continue attacking, breaking the shield to throw spirits and gain buffs. The key in this phase is to prioritize survival over damage output.

After continuously moving around, use Star Magic to urgently break the boss's shield. After breaking it multiple times, the boss will be stunned. This triggers the second phase of the battle. During this period, be sure to pay attention to your positioning to avoid being hit by the AOE skills of Storm Hound.
After the shield is broken, enter the second phase, where you need to use ground or water-type spirits to deal type-advantaged damage. It is recommended to bring Aqua Spirit Beast (water-type) or Shockwave Monster (ground-type), prioritizing high-power skills (such as Water Tornado or Earth Splitter). When the BOSS's HP drops below 50%, trigger a continuous attack window and focus on releasing water-type skills to quickly finish it off.

Ground-type spirits can be obtained through random captures, and for water-type spirits, it is suggested to cultivate the initially gifted Water Sprite. Prioritize equipment with water/ground attribute damage increase and critical hit rate boost, and the recommended trait is "Precision Strike" (increases accuracy).

The difficulty of Storm Hound lies in dealing with its mechanics and type advantages, and also requires a certain level of movement from the player. Properly pairing water/ground-type spirits can significantly reduce the challenge. After mastering the rhythm of dodging skills and timing of attacks, even a low-level team can steadily clear the stage.
