War of the Future is an FPS game that mainly focuses on PVE combat. In this game, you can see various PVE maps, and when it comes to these maps, many newcomers to the game may not be very familiar with them. So today, we will bring you an introduction to the War of the Future maps. After reading, you will know which maps are in the game and have a more detailed understanding of these maps.

The first map is called Metropolis. This is a city-type map where the zombie monsters are relatively basic and common. The bosses in this map include the Big and Small Double-Barrel Brothers, Doctor, and Flying Dragon. Among them, the Doctor is the boss for the true ending, the Big and Small Brothers are mini-bosses, and the Flying Dragon is the boss for another ending. Generally, players need to fight the Doctor, who drops a specific weapon accessory box, which is extremely important for players. After defeating the Doctor and obtaining the drop, the dungeon is considered completed. If you want to fight the Flying Dragon after that, you can, but the Flying Dragon only gives weapon boxes, not accessories.

The second map is called Dark Easter. This map is related to the branch boss, the Flying Dragon, from the previous Metropolis map. The Flying Dragon is the mount of the final boss in this map. When you enter this map, you will come to a map set in France. Besides seeing the zombies from the Metropolis map, you can also see zombies with a medieval style.
After defeating these zombies, you can enter the portal to another world, where you will find the boss, the Death Knight, at the portal location. This is a dual-form boss with two health bars. The first form is on horseback, and the second is off horseback, with the latter being stronger. It's significantly harder to defeat than the Doctor in Metropolis. Defeating this boss rewards you with unique melee weapons, among which a scythe is very useful, as it has a life-steal effect. This is the second map.

The third map is called Jungle Enchantment. This is the third map in the game, set in a South Asian tropical jungle. The zombies here all have jungle elements, with a higher proportion of beast-like zombies. There are five bosses in total, three of which are branch bosses: the Carnivorous Plant, Zombie Jiao King, and Golden Fighter. The other two are the final bosses, Tina and Dark Angel. The Dark Angel is the main boss to farm, as it drops melee weapons and characters. These characters are very useful for PVE at the current stage. This is the third map.
The fourth map is called Nine Provinces Dragon Tomb, a Chinese-style map set against the backdrop of the First Emperor of Qin's tomb. When playing this map, you can enter a fictional Qin Emperor's tomb and encounter resurrected Qin zombies and some fierce beasts. There are four bosses in this map: the Corpse Puppet, Yin-Yang Angel, Corpse Taotie, and Warring States Corpse Emperor. All of these bosses should be farmed because each one provides exclusive melee equipment.

After completing this map, the fifth map is called City of Jingjue, based on a novel. This map recreates the descriptions from the novel, allowing you to see various monsters mentioned in the story. The bosses are also largely based on the novel, including the Queen Ant, High Priest of Jingjue, Slave King of Jingjue, and Raven of Jingjue. Defeating these bosses rewards you with accessories and characters.
After completing this map, you can move on to the last map, which is Sakura City. This is a Japanese-style map where you can see many Japanese elements, such as the scenery and zombies. There are four bosses in this map: Ghost Armor Toad, Ghost Dance Sakura, Poisonous Winged Bee, and General Musashi. Defeating them rewards you with grenades, melee weapons, and spirit essence.

This concludes the introduction to the War of the Future maps. After reading the introduction, you should now know which maps are in the game and have a general idea of what they are like. With this knowledge, you will be better prepared to play these maps in the future.
