To secure victory in the game's combat and adventure, the selection of team members is crucial. This choice should not only be based on the elemental counter mechanism of the monsters present but also on the combat role of the characters. Many beginners may not yet know what classes are available in Black Beacon. Below is an introduction to the different classes, so that newcomers can understand and make the right choices when forming a team.

Currently, characters are mainly divided into three types: Burst Damage, Support, and Synergy Breaker. The damage dealer, or the main DPS, corresponds to having sustained battlefield output capabilities and is an indispensable core member of the team. A representative character is Ireshian.

The Synergy Breaker is positioned as the secondary DPS of the team, primarily tasked with assisting teammates in their attacks. These characters usually have skills that can continue dealing damage even after switching, meaning they can still provide elemental buildup while off-field. In practice, you can use this by allowing the Synergy Breaker to briefly stay on the field, apply elemental effects, and then switch to the main DPS for more output. A representative character is Nana.

The last type, Support, is straightforward, focusing on healing or buffing teammates. Some supports can also assist in building up elemental effects through their attacks. A representative character is Ling. Currently, a team consists of 3 members, so it’s a stable strategy to support the main DPS with both a Synergy Breaker and a Support when forming a team.

However, some players may have their own combat rhythms, such as preferring to stack continuous damage, allowing the next switched-in character to benefit from the previous character's skills. In this case, it’s perfectly viable to have 2 Synergy Breakers and 1 main DPS.
