However, the Monster Battle isn't as simple as just picking up monsters. The limit for the monster team is three, so when you encounter a new monster, you must make a choice. When you set out again, you can choose up to three monsters to form a team and conquer new stages. In the backpack, monster coins can be used to permanently upgrade them, reaching up to level 10. However, remember that these upgrades are temporary within the dungeon; once you exit the current game, the monsters will revert to their original levels.
