1. Starting Out

After selecting your gender for the first time, simply follow the main quest line. This stage helps you learn basic operations such as movement and combat, as well as understand the world. Therefore, beginners should definitely follow the guidance provided.

2. Survival Status

Given the game features very realistic survival mechanics, always pay attention to your character's current survival status while adventuring. The survival status is mainly indicated by red and green icons. A green icon means everything is fine, whereas a red one indicates a negative state. Being in a negative state reduces certain stats. Initially, when placing a campfire, remember to put it under the grill, and then place your bed next to the campfire. This way, both pieces of furniture benefit from the campfire, making it more convenient. Also, as your home level increases, upgrade it promptly. Upgrading your home not only makes it bigger but also unlocks more functional furniture, along with items like scraps and recipes.

4. Combat

In combat, you can choose different weapons, each offering distinct attack modes. For instance, using a bow allows for ranged attacks, while a spear lets you block with a shield during close combat. You can switch between these based on your playstyle. All weapons have two types of attacks: normal and charged. Charged attacks deal more damage and can stagger enemies when used in succession. You can obtain pets, known as Macca, by creating or hatching Macca eggs in your home. They can assist in work or combat. There are three main types: combat, production, and synergy. Combat Macca provide assistance in battles. Since they have different attributes, it's advisable to bring ones that counter your enemies. Production Macca help with tasks like logging, mining, and collecting. Simply direct those with the appropriate skills to work. Synergy Macca are essential for exploration, as some can be ridden, and others transform into teleportation devices, saving a lot of exploration time.
