This is a semi-open world gameplay system, where the player's choices in the game are crucial. Joining different factions and whether to assassinate or protect important historical figures, these choices will determine the ending of the story. Below is a detailed classification and analysis of the characters' missions that can be pursued in "Rising Ronin," covering key decisions in the main storyline, marriage missions (reputation missions), and romance missions (romantic storylines). Interested players, come and take a look.

I. Mission Type Differentiation
Main Missions: Affect faction reputation (Anti-Shogunate/Pro-Shogunate) and the life or death of some characters.
Marriage Missions: Essentially reputation missions, unlocked by increasing NPC affinity, unrelated to factions.
Romance Missions: Triggered after reaching a specific level of affinity, with romantic storylines, unlocking exclusive accessories and set rewards. It is important to note that Romance Missions must be completed in the first playthrough mode; they cannot be triggered in the second playthrough (Night Mode).
Of course, if you've already maxed out your affinity but still can't trigger it, you might want to check if there's a network issue. Using biubiu Accelerator can reduce latency, and after activation, you can visually see the current speed improvement. With the code [biubiu No Disconnect], you get 72 hours of privileges. If it's your first registration, the system will automatically unlock an additional 3 hours, totaling 75 hours.

II. Detailed Chapter Missions
Chapter One: Edo
Key Mainline Branches
1. The Fall and Rise of the Curtain:
It is recommended not to kill Kuranosuke, otherwise, his subsequent marriage mission (unlocking the style) and affinity rewards will disappear, and you won't have an ally early on, which can make things more difficult. Of course, if he has already been mistakenly killed, you can revert the choice through the "Soul Record."

2. Harris Assassination Plan:
In the plot before Chapter Three, finding Katsura Kogorō (Anti-Shogunate) or Togashi (Pro-Shogunate) only affects reputation, with no plot branches. In other words, whom you choose to find means joining that faction. There are many NPCs in the Anti-Shogunate faction for romance; if you find it troublesome, you can choose the green reputation.

3. Each with Their Own Agenda: Whichever side you give the letter to, their reputation will increase. Only affects reputation, not the plot.
4. Prison Break Strategy Choice: It is recommended to choose the "Kuwan Kansai Plan" to unlock the subsequent romance mission (all of his tasks must be completed before Kuwan Kansai dies in Chapter Two). Finally, you need to change the selection to the "Ryoma Plan" through the "Soul Record," otherwise, Ryoma's Chapter Three mission cannot be triggered. Be sure to mention Awen when you find Shoin in the prison, so he can deliver the letter to Awen, facilitating the start of Awen's romance side quest.

5. The Incident Outside the Sakurada Gate: Choose to let Ii live and do not kill Seiki, otherwise, Seiki's side quest will disappear. Also, make sure to complete all of Togashi's tasks before this point (he will die afterward).

Pursuable Characters
Togashi: All marriage/romance missions are in Chapter One and must be completed before her death. Exclusive accessory "Rouge" (set effect: Heroic Presence).
Matthew Perry: Only marriage missions, no romance plot, but can form a "Wing Alliance" to obtain the cigar accessory (increases short gun damage). Best to max out affinity in Chapter One.
Usuyuki Tayu: Triggers after collecting 100 cats, no chapter restriction for romance missions. Exclusive accessory "Cat God Statue" (enhances resource collection).
Chapter Two: Yokohama
Key Mainline Branches
Faction choice (Anti-Shogunate/Pro-Shogunate) only affects reputation, no plot branches.

Kuwan Kansai's Death: All tasks must be completed before his death, otherwise, the subsequent romance plot cannot be unlocked. For this chapter, follow Ryoma's path—choose Anti-Shogunate before Kuwan Kansai's death, and Pro-Shogunate after.

Pursuable Characters
Katsura Kogorō: Romance missions can be triggered throughout all chapters. Exclusive accessory "Little Guanyin Statue" (luck +100).
Chiba Sana: Appears in Chapter Two, but all tasks appear only after progressing to Chapter Three.
Namimoto Ine: Triggers in Edo map in Chapter Two. Exclusive accessory "Female Doctor's First Aid Kit" (enhances medicine effects).
Robert Fortune & Alexander von Siebold: Chapter Two botanical garden NPCs, involved in the garden upgrade side quest, no romance missions.
Chapter Three: Kyoto
Key Mainline Branches
The Omiya Incident: Does not affect Ryoma's life or death, but you need to max out his affinity and complete all marriage missions before Chapter Three. After maxing out, Ryoma naturally won't die. The romance mission with Ryoma will only be available at the end of the first playthrough.

The Battle of Toba-Fushimi: Faction choice has no impact, but ensure the survival of Okita Sōji and Takasugi Shinsaku (complete their "Medicine Search" marriage missions in advance).

Whether to Let Your Partner Go: It is recommended to let them go, unlocks red accessory in the second playthrough.
Pursuable Characters
Sakamoto Ryoma: Romance mission triggers after advancing the main storyline in Chapter Three. Exclusive accessory "Matching Fragrance" (set effect -1).
Okita Sōji: Exclusive accessory "Colorful Windmill" (Awakened Sword Saint set, suitable for wheelchair style).
Takasugi Shinsaku: Exclusive accessory "Jade Dice" (enhances abnormal damage, suitable for the Otherworldly style).
Chiba Sana & Saigō Tsugumichi: Unlocks after "Return to the Jianghu." Sana's accessory "Clear Breeze Face" (Purple Lightning style energy recovery).
Awen (Widow): Triggers after her husband's death in Chapter Three. Exclusive accessory "Awen's Notebook" (enhances effect boost).
III. Mission Mechanics and Tips
Multiple Playthrough Operations
Second Playthrough (Night Mode): New romance missions cannot be triggered, but you can replay main/side quests to obtain red accessories (such as Ryoma's "Fragrant Lining").
Soul Record Reversion: Used to correct wrong choices or complete missions, needs to "reflect to the current era" to affect the subsequent events.
Handling Love Triangles
Maintaining "Wing Alliances" with multiple people simultaneously will lock subsequent romance missions, requiring you to break up and then reconcile one by one to unlock all storylines.
Later characters like Okita Sōji and Ryoma need to be operated after Chapter Three to avoid early conflicts.
Accessory and Set Priorities
Tier 0: Ryoma (reduces set requirements), Okita Sōji (energy attack), Takasugi Shinsaku (abnormal enhancement).
Tier 1: Kuwan Kansai (early bravery), Katsura Kogorō (luck bonus).
Functional: Usuyuki Tayu (resource collection), Namimoto Ine (medicine enhancement).
IV. Warning for Character Deaths
The following characters need to have their affinity maxed out in advance, otherwise, they will die/disappear after the main storyline progresses:
Kuwan Kansai (dies in Chapter Two), Nakagawa Shintarō (dies in Chapter Two), Kondō Isami (survival depends on choices).
In summary, the guide for pursuing character missions in "Rising Ronin" is introduced here, with over 50 missions. There are 13 romanceable characters in the game, and by planning the order of missions and cultivating affinity, you can unlock all romance characters and exclusive rewards. For efficient collection, it is recommended to refer to the "Soul Record" reversion function and the chapter mission node table.
