As shown in the picture, on the overview interface of the warlord, to the right of the faction icon is the warlord's profession. The basic professions are Attack, Defense, and Support, with many branches under each category. A single warlord, including the basic profession, has 2 additional unlockable professions, and later, they can freely switch among the 3 professions.

To unlock new professions, you need to awaken to a specific rank. For example, at Rank 4, you can upgrade the basic profession and spend Xuanlong Pearls to unlock the two branch professions. Later, at Rank 10, you can further upgrade the advanced professions. Basic professions can be upgraded to Level 3, while advanced professions can currently only be upgraded to Level 2.

Professions do not have an absolute hierarchy of strength; it still depends on how you match your lineup. Taking Sun Kailang as an example, the basic defense profession can share damage with allies in the same column. After upgrading, it can reduce some of the shared damage. Placing him in the front row can help teammates absorb a lot of damage. On the other hand, the Guardian simply provides 20% damage reduction and healing at the start of each turn. If no other warlords are positioned behind Sun Kailang, using the Guardian profession can significantly enhance his individual durability.

Currently, attack professions include Attack, Striker, Vanguard, Harvester, Strategist, Assault, Commander, Valiant, Sharpshooter, Scout, Tactician, Standard Bearer, Array Mage, and Leader. Defense professions include Defense, Guardian, Marshal, Berserker, Iron Guard, Fighter, Hero, Array Mage, and Alchemist. Support professions include Support, Dancer, Celebrity, Genius, Musician, General, Leader, and Alchemist.
