The corresponding card always shows the highest rank when the fish has been caught at least once. If a fish is caught at the ★★ level, the card will be blue, but once the fish is caught at the ★★★ level, the card will update to yellow and will remain yellow regardless of the quality of any subsequent catches. Large fish do not have ★ level captures, so they do not have brown versions of the cards.
