In this tide of history, a young man with a complex background, Henry, is involuntarily drawn into the conflict. On the surface, he is the son of a blacksmith, but in reality, he has been the notorious thief of Rattay, the owner of the golden skin at the bathhouse, and a master swordsman. Henry has already gained some fame in the first part of "Kingdom Come." In this game, players will take on the role of a more mature Henry, who, at the beginning of the story, is just a squire to Captain Hans.
They are commissioned to go to Talmberg to win over Lord Pergor, to ensure he stands by the original king, Wenceslaus IV, and prevent him from being won over by Sigismund. With this significant mission, Henry and Hans finally have the opportunity to leave Rattay, which Henry has long since "drained," and embark on a new adventure and freedom.
However, their journey is not smooth. In Talmberg, they are suspected of being bandits by the captain of the guards, Thomas. After some explanations, they gain his trust. But then, an unexpected attack occurs, and their companions from Rattay, including the antagonist István, who holds a sword made by Henry's father, are captured. While trying to rescue his companions, Henry reveals his identity and is chased along with Hans, escaping from the lake to the mountains, and then from the mountains to the forest, where Henry is injured and supported by Hans as they flee for their lives.
During their escape, the severely wounded Henry sees many visions, including his deceased adoptive father, mother, and major enemies from the previous game. Fortunately, Hans eventually carries Henry to a small cabin, where a kind old woman saves them. After two nights of recovery, they set off again, continuing their journey on foot to Talmberg.
However, their identities are not recognized by the steward and the gate guards of Talmberg, and they are humiliated. With no other options, they return to the village tavern. In the tavern, Henry unexpectedly meets Catherine, the lady he saved by the lake. Through her, they learn about the opportunity to attend the wedding of the son of Lord Sem, which might allow them to meet Lord Pergor.
But Hans' stability is clearly lacking, and he gets into a fight with a stranger who insults their deceased companion. Eventually, both are arrested by local guards and punished with the pillory. After serving their sentence, they part ways, each working to attend the wedding and meet Lord Pergor.
Henry, now penniless and separated from his only friend, Hans, accepts help from a beggar and begins to gather information related to the wedding. The truth is revealed, and it is clear that István has always been working for Pergor. Naturally, they choose to cooperate with Žižka.
However, the peace is short-lived. Pergor and his reinforcements attack the castle. Although they hold out for a while, they are eventually captured. Hans, as a noble, is taken away by Pergor, while Henry is taken by István for questioning. During his interrogation, Catherine suddenly appears and rescues Henry. It turns out she has been Žižka's agent in Talmberg all along.
With Catherine's help, Henry infiltrates the castle, assassinating and exploring, eventually finding István's residence, killing him for revenge, and retrieving his father's sword. Then, he escapes with Goodwin, Žižka, and Catherine through a secret tunnel and heads to the next region, the castle of Sokolov.

Žižka sends Catherine to Krumau on a spy mission to find a faction member named Liechtenstein. Since Father Goodwin revealed some information about Liechtenstein in the dungeon, his situation becomes unsafe. Meanwhile, you are assigned a series of tasks, including rescuing Hanek with Kopek.
After completing the tasks, you head to Krumau to meet with Catherine to get information about the royalist member Liechtenstein. Through a series of clues and encounters, you finally find Liechtenstein. After a conversation, you learn that Pergor may have taken Hans to Malesov Castle, a reward from Sigismund. You agree to the Rožmberks' request and head to the mines to find solid evidence of Vávra's crimes. When you report back to the Rožmberks, Vávra comes to cause trouble. You confront him, revealing the evidence and threatening him, and he finally agrees to monitor Sigismund for you. Rožmberk also tells you that his daughter Rosa knows a secret passage to Malesov.
After communicating with Rosa, you use the secret passage to reach Malesov, successfully rescuing Hans and his new friend, Brabant. Additionally, you help Miss Rosa find a book she left behind, completing her request.
After leaving Malesov, you meet with Hanuš and Radzík, who come to your aid. After exchanging information, they inform you that they will go to Rataje with Hans for a royalist meeting, and you need to sneak into the Krumau town council to eavesdrop on Sigismund's meeting arrangements.

This marks the end of the game. The bald general, with whom you have a blood feud, gradually dies after being shot by the alcoholic. Hans also indicates that he is very reluctant to accept a political marriage, but this has become a condition for Hanuš to pass on Rattay to him. In a vision, you see your parents again, and they express their disappointment in you for participating in the massacre of Sem and avenging István, the bald general, and Brabant.
