In this issue, we bring you a story ID sharing for "Gui Gu Eight Desolations." In the immortal world of Gui Gu Eight Desolations, the main storyline is not only the core thread that runs through the game but also undergoes profound changes with each player's decision. The five distinctly different endings add tension and depth to the main plot, and how you choose and advance events will directly determine the final destination of your immortal journey.

The core of the main storyline revolves around uncovering the truth about the "Master of Sword Pavilion." Players need to explore the world, enhance their strength, and interact with key characters. Among them, Li Si and Chen Shan are two pivotal figures who drive the plot forward. How you handle relationships with them will directly influence the final outcome. The first branching point in the plot occurs during conversations with Li Si each time you descend the mountain, which will determine three distinctly different endings. If players choose to inform Li Si of the truth each time they descend the mountain, a deep trust relationship will be established. This choice will secure a crucial support in the final battle: during the fight against the Master of Sword Pavilion, Li Si will be injured but will still assist you in the final counterattack. At this moment, if the player chooses to help Li Si defeat the Master, the first perfect ending can be achieved.

If the player chooses to conceal the truth from Li Si each time they descend the mountain, the plot development becomes more somber. In the final battle, Li Si will not know the truth and cannot provide assistance. He will die in the battle, leaving the player to face the Master of Sword Pavilion alone. Although the player still has a chance to defeat the Master, this ending will take another path: the player will replace the Master as the new leader of Sword Pavilion. This outcome is seen as a continuation of a "vicious cycle," where the player wins the battle but cannot change the corruption and mistakes of Sword Pavilion.

The third ending occurs when the player chooses to inform Li Si of the truth but does not assist him during the final battle. When Li Si falls, the player watches indifferently and accepts the elixir offered by the Master, ultimately joining Sword Pavilion. This choice leads the player to become part of Sword Pavilion, completely abandoning the initial goal of changing the world. This ending is full of irony, symbolizing the fall and compromise of an immortal in the face of power and truth.

Besides the three endings related to Li Si, there are two independent ending branches involving Chen Shan. If the player chooses to converse with Chen Shan upon ascending the mountain and assists him in collecting map fragments, the plot will take a different turn. If all map fragments are successfully collected during the journey, Chen Shan will construct a Transcendence Spaceship based on these fragments. During the final battle, the player can escape the current plane via this spaceship, achieving an ending that transcends worldly conflicts, symbolizing the ultimate freedom and liberation sought by immortals.

The main storyline of Gui Gu Eight Desolations centers on branches and choices, with every decision influencing the final outcome. Whether assisting Li Si in uncovering the truth, choosing Chen Shan's spaceship to escape the plane, or compromising to join Sword Pavilion, each path is filled with profound immortal philosophy and life choices.
